Terms of Service

          Short version: Fortune Sphere is entertainment software.
          Use it fairly, don’t reverse-engineer or redistribute our content, and treat
          oracles as fun — not professional advice.
        

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Fortune Sphere mobile application and the website at fs.novasector.net (together, the “Service”), provided by Nova Sector (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Fortune Sphere is a themed fortune / Magic 8-Ball style entertainment app. Features may include free themes and skins, optional premium content, and related marketing pages. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Entertainment only

All fortunes, oracles, and responses are for entertainment purposes only. They are not medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the Service for decisions that require professional judgment.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with Google Play’s terms and any applicable age requirements for the store and your device.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Fortune Sphere for personal, non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or redistribute the app or premium content except as allowed by law
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
Circumvent purchase, license, or access controls
Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
Scrape, overload, or disrupt our servers or website

5. Accounts

Fortune Sphere does not require a separate Nova Sector account. Access to purchases and restores is handled through your Google Play account and the store’s systems.

6. Purchases and refunds

Optional in-app purchases are sold through Google Play. Prices, taxes, billing, and refunds are governed by Google Play’s policies and applicable law. We do not process card payments ourselves. Unless required by law or Google Play policy, purchases are final.

Premium content is licensed, not sold outright. After a verified purchase, content may be delivered to your device for use within the app under these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, themes, skins, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Nova Sector or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Theme names and imagery may reference popular culture for entertainment flavor; third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. No endorsement is implied.

8. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third parties such as Google Play and hosting providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVA SECTOR AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS (US $10).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the above limits apply only to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Nova Sector and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Nova Sector operates the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on that subject.
